Townhouses
Whereas apartments are properties in a larger building complex with shared communal spaces, townhouses are houses built within a row of connected houses with very little jointly owned. Though townhouses share one or two walls, they usually have fewer common areas and are considered individual and independent homes, usually with individual front/backyards (that may be fenced) and carports/garages. Apartments are also usually single-floor units which come with one to three bedrooms for a single family to live in whereas townhouses can be single or double-storied homes.
